Pop superstar Usher and his longtime partner, Jennifer Goicoechea, quietly married in Las Vegas mere hours after the R&B singer’s blockbuster halftime show during Sunday’s Super Bowl game, court documents released on Monday reveal.

The couple’s whirlwind night saw them head from Usher’s lauded performance at Allegiant Stadium to Vegas Weddings’ outdoor Terrace Gazebo, where they wed in an intimate ceremony, the AP reports.

“Congratulations to the Newlyweds! What a great game and Usher’s performance was phenomenal!” Melody Willis-Williams, president of Vegas Weddings, said in a statement sent to The Hollywood Reporter. “We were beyond thrilled to host in this epic day for Usher and his new wife.”

The couple of five years, who have two young children together, invited the 45-year-old star’s mother, Jonnetta Patton, as a witness and, according to the court documents, had their wedding officiated by Rev. Ronald Joseph Polrywka — who is known locally as Elvis impersonator Ron DeCar.

“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas, surrounded by close friends and family,” a rep for Usher told People. “They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.”

The couple perhaps tipped off Vegas revelers and the press to their post-Super Bowl nuptials while celebrating around town later. Draped in a white floor-length fur coat later on Sunday night, Usher was photographed at post-game parties also sporting a gold band on his left ring finger. Goicoechea wore an all-white tie-waist jacket and pants combo.

The news that the couple had obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas last week was widely reported on Monday morning following the release of court documents in Clark County. As the images of a be-ringed Usher surfaced online later on Monday, so did the couple’s Certificate of Marriage.

This is Usher’s second marriage. The “Yeah” singer was previously wed to fashion designer Tameka Foster, with whom he shares sons Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, 16, and Navid Ely, 15.

The pop star’s very busy week included the release of his ninth studio album, Coming Home, on Friday and the announcement that he is extending his Past Present Future Tour. His Usher: My Way Las Vegas residency ended in December after 100 performances.
